Career
Sartin sang at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, for five years, and gained a diploma before joining the band Life Of Reilly. He and Paul Hutchinson later formed the duo Belshazzar’s Feast.
In 2004 John Spiers and Jon Boden invited Sartin and Kirkpatrick to join their new 11-piece band Bellowhead. The band released one EP and five studio albums over their 12-year duration.
Sartin played oboe, cor anglais, and violin in Faustus, which received an award from the English Folk Dance and Song Society. He also played oboe, cor anglais, and violin in Belshazzar’s Feast, which received a nomination for Best Duo.
