The Duck Dynasty was an American reality television series on A&E depicting the lives of the Roberton family, who became successful from their family-operated business “Duck Commander”. The West Monroe, Louisiana business makes products for duck hunters, primarily a duck call that called Duck Commander.

The Robertson men brothers Phil and Si, and Phil’s sons Willie, Jase, and Jep are known for their long beards and their old-fashioned, Evangelical Christian views. The family was formerly featured on the series Benelli Presents Duck Commander and its spin-off, Buck Commander, on the Outdoor Channel. Then Outdoor Channel acquired rerun rights to Duck Dynasty in 2016.

The star home of “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson was the target of a drive-by shooting on Friday afternoon, as eight to 10 shots were fired from the suspect.

According to the Monroe News-Star report on Friday, A driver in a white and brown Ford F-250 with large aftermarket rims and tires drove by Robertson’s estate at least one time before opening fire around 2:33 p.m.

“We were pretty shaken up,” Robertson told USA Today. He also said that it looks like they were just spraying bullets across my property.

During the coronavirus pandemic “Robertson has many family members and they all are staying with him”.

Suddenly they shoot and one of the bullets went through a bedroom window but the good news was that no one was injured, the News-Star reported.

To watching this situation Robertson believes that he was targeted.

This all situation he told to “USA Today”. He said that “I’m 100% sure that I was the target, but I don’t know why I am,”

Investigation

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.

A sheriff’s spokesman said Sunday “Authorities in Louisiana are investigating a shooting incident that struck the home of “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson last week.

Witnesses elaborate that someone shooting from a truck at Robertson’s home in West Monroe, east of Shreveport, said Glenn Springfield, spokesman for the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.

According to news, the driver was described as a white male and he was seemed to be in his late teens or early 20s. There were other occupants in the truck, but there any other descriptions are not available.

Robertson didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment Sunday, though the former reality show “star told a local newspaper”, the Monroe News-Star, that “they were just spraying bullets across my property” in “broad daylight.” He just added, “We were pretty shaken up”.

The witnesses said, a man who appeared to be in his teens or 20s was driving the truck, and other people did not appear and they were in the vehicle, Springfield said. It wasn’t immediately clear that the King was the driver.

Police said a gunman fired about 10 shots at the home of “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson in broad daylight.

On April 26, 2020, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office said they arrested Daniel King Jr. and charged him with one count of aggravated assault by a drive-by shooting.

Law enforcement officials have announced an arrest in the drive-by shooting investigation, on April 27, 2020.
